Promoting Conservation through Community Development

ABOUT US

Conservation Science Africa is a for Profit Organisation.

The core concept of Conservation Science Africa (CSA) is a conservation process to conserve and rehabilitate community rangelands and to enhance living standards and conditions of the local communities.

Management interventions are implemented to assist families to become self-sufficient in producing the food they require; and village issues such as water supply, ablutions, waste, energy and lighting requirements are addressed.

Rangeland management interventions take into account factors that threaten the survival of the rangelands which not only involve protection, but also restoration and rehabilitation, so that lost or eroded values are recovered.

Who is Conservation Science Africa

We do this in order to conserve and sustainably utilise Africa’s wild areas and their unique biodiversity and to avoid land degradation and deforestation.

We are a Botswana-based conservation company that works regionally in Botswana, Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Our focus is on community-based Eco-Initiatives in and around Africa’s wildlife and wilderness areas.

We specialise in community participation in conservation programmes to conserve and rehabilitate wild areas and their surrounding rangelands. We do this by focusing on sustainable conservation business development and Eco-Village systems that conserve the natural environmental and enhance villager livelihood and living practices.
